The Yat is a small family run guest house.  We have spring water on tap and serve organic food, with a full english breakfast.

This ancient historic house, dating from the 15th Century, nestles in an unspoilt valley, down a single track road, in the tiny hamlet of Glascwm.  We are almost equidistant between the towns of Hay-on-Wye, Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells  Here the present owners, Krystyna Zaremba and Derek Pike,  have made the house into a rural retreat, where guests can recharge their batteries in this welcoming home, amidst the beautiful countryside,  to return to their busy city lives feeling regenerated and rested.  Our terraced garden, which surrounds the house is available for guests to enjoy!  The surrounding hills are a wonderful place for long carefree walks with rarely any people and mostly sheep for company!  Bring your cameras and paints.  We have easels for guests to use.
